Tesla to end Cybertruck production in 2027 for Cybercabs

Tesla chief executive Elon Musk said Friday that the company will wind down Cybertruck production at its Gigafactory Texas in Austin around the middle of 2027. The electric vehicle maker will use that space to increase output of its Cybercab self-driving taxi after years of weak sales, repeated recalls and steep price increases.
