Tesla to wind down Cybertruck production for Cybercab expansion

Tesla will wind down Cybertruck production at its Texas Gigafactory around the middle of 2027, Elon Musk said Friday, shifting capacity toward increased output of the self-driving Cybercab. The decision follows years of weak sales, repeated recalls, steep price increases and production delays that left the electric pickup below Tesla's original market ambitions.
