An Omani co-pilot on FlyDubai Flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv stabbed the Indian captain with a crash axe and allegedly attempted to crash the plane into Ben Gurion Airport on September 30. Passengers and crew subdued the attacker after the aircraft plunged roughly 17,000 feet, and it made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia.
