Pope Leo XIV returned to the Vatican on Saturday, four days after undergoing surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from the lower lobe of his right lung at Rome's Gemelli Hospital. The seventy-one year old pontiff walked out of the hospital unaided to cheers from well-wishers and is set to deliver his traditional noon blessing on Sunday.
