A co-pilot on a Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv stabbed the captain mid-flight and apparently attempted to crash the plane, causing it to plunge roughly 17,000 feet in two minutes. Passengers and crew subdued the attacker, an Omani national, after the wounded captain opened the cockpit door, and the plane made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia with all 174 people aboard surviving.
