Russell Brand found guilty of rape and sexual assault

A London jury found British comedian Russell Brand guilty of one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault involving four women in incidents spanning 1999 to 2009. The fifty-one-year-old denied the charges, was remanded in custody and will be sentenced Monday, while police continue investigating two additional rape complaints by the Metropolitan Police.
