Peltola campaign faces probes over second Dan Sullivan scheme

The United States Department of Justice reportedly issued subpoenas Thursday over allegations that Mary Peltola’s campaign helped recruit a second Dan Sullivan in Alaska’s Senate race. Republican Governor Mike Dunleavy also ordered a state investigation after reports that the namesake candidate was intended to split votes from incumbent Dan Sullivan before the midterm election.
