Jacob Coxon resigned from AI company Anthropic, accusing it and rival OpenAI of 'gambling with our lives' in a reckless race to build self-improving superintelligent AI systems. Fellow Anthropic researcher Evan Hubinger backed the warning, saying there is more than a 10% chance AI could wipe out humanity within the next decade.
